Velux's VS line of skylights offer sunlight to populate a room and ventilation to let rooms circulate air. Control the amount of air flow through the skylight window with select blind options, control the sunlight in a rooms well.

PLEASE NOTE: In residential applications, Tempered glass can be used up to 12 feet above the floor. Otherwise, Laminated glazing is required for any glass skylight mounted above 12 feet. Please check local building code requirements before purchasing.

VS Deck Mount Skylight Details and Quick Facts

Deck Mount Skylights are installed directly into a hole on the home's roof cut to the exact size of the skylight. Unlike curb mount skylights, deck mounts will have a more flush finish to the roof.

When looking at a deck mount skylight, please consider the following:

• Velux recommends the VS Skylight is installed on a roof with a pitch of 14° - 85°
• Opening in roof is constructed to exact size of skylight used
• Skylight and skylight curb is wrapped on Velux's adhesive skylight underlayment
• Skylight is properly secured to the opening and installed over flashing
• Proper clearance from valleys, ridges and slope changes. See below for specified clearance:
  • Shingle Roof: 18in. Top and Bottom, 12in. Left and Right
  • Tile Roof: : 24in. Top and Bottom, 12in. Left and Right

If you are paying using PayPal’s eCheck (bank account), we will ship the item after the payment has cleared which can take 2-5 business days. All buyer's are required to make payment within 3 business days after purchase.

• Carriers: Our primary carrier is Fedex Ground and Home Delivery, however occasionally we will use USPS Priority Mail.

• Prompt and Reliable: All of our orders are shipped SAME BUSINESS DAY or within 1 business day after a payment has cleared and a tracking number is uploaded to your order immediately after it leaves our warehouse.

• Insured: We include full insurance coverage of the item purchased, which covers any package lost or damaged in transit.

• Delivery Restrictions: FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO and similar addresses.

• Local Pick-Up: Can be arranged if requested.

• FL Sales Tax: Will be automatically applied to transactions in Florida (6.00%).

Returns:
